Providing Doors of Emotional, Physical and Social Hope:
- Many Hands – Gardening and other household assistance is provided by a co-ordinated group of volunteers for those in need. Prospective clients should contact the coordinator at Door of Hope for more information.
- Superheroes – A camp for primary school aged children in grades 3 -6 from families that are experiencing tough times. Held twice per year.
- Madwheels – Provides motor vehicles to those who through circumstances cannot afford the initial outlay. Wrecks and cars are donated to Madwheels and through a group of skilled volunteers the cars are restored or cannibalized for another vehicle. Counselling is provided to prospective recipients so that the donation of a vehicle will not make their financial position worse.
- Christmas Hampers – Food hampers are provided to those less fortunate at Christmas. Each hamper comprises of the food and drink needed to make a simple Christmas Dinner for 5 people.
