As of July 1, 2011 Community Care is no longer directly involved in the provision of aged care residential services. The Local Projects, Emergency Ministries and Response continue their services.

A committee has been formed to work on the future shape of Community Care. Committed to the continuation of the local projects through CareWorks the Community Care Board is also looking at ways of initiating and encouraging the development of other benevolent programs and activities to fulfill its new charter.

Community Care continues to be a resource for local community ministry and mission. We look forward to the emergence of a new and exciting chapter of Community Care’s story, already more than 80 years long.
